Our New Arrival

He is finally here - and he is the love of my life! After 9 long months of chasing three little boys around, swollen feet, lots of cravings, back pain, nausea, and fatigue,

please help me welcome.....

Dylan Leon Hinckley.

He was born on December 20, 2010. His big brothers adore him and Dad is pretty nuts about him too. This is the longest spread we have had in between kids. The boys are old enough to know what is going on and it has been sweet to watch them fuss and make over him.

Thank you Heavenly Father for giving us the this beautiful, sweet innocent spirit in our home of crazy, rowdy boys. I know he soon will be adding to the excitement and noise, but for now, I'll enjoy the sweet tender moments and soft goos.

Thanksgiving Day in our Haven

We so enjoyed our company on Thanksgiving. Since we couldn't be with more of our immediate family, it was nice to have such wonderful families in our home. We miss all of you and we are anxiously waiting the Christmas season.
1) because the boys are sooooo excited this year
and
2) because we will have a new baby - what a perfect Christmas gift!
I am supposed to be having the baby on the 16th of December.

I am just sad that I did not get pictures of the
Bluth and Taylor kids and
I did not get one of Jenny's darling little tummy.

Nate and Jenny (the couple on the right and the two children in the next two photos), are Spencer's brother and wife that just moved here to Norman. We are thrilled to have them here.

I had fun setting all the tables and decorating for Fall. I may not do much decorating this Christmas because I am soooo pregnant!

"Get your kicks on Route 66"

The famous Route 66 runs right through the state of Oklahoma and is not too far from where we live here in Norman. On the first day of Spring Break we were itching for something to do. My good friend Aimee suggested we take the kiddos to "Pops" right on Route 66.
~ What a perfect idea ~
They had a blast! Only bad thing was everyone in OK had the same idea, so
I think we waited 45 minutes to get a table - but it was worth it!

Check out all those soda bottles lined up in the background.

You wouldn't believe how man
flavors this
place has!
The kids had a great time looking
at different colors and flavors.

A few of the boys wanted to go pose outside by the giant soda bottle. It lights up at night - Jaxen made sure that I included that little bit of
information.

I love doing things with these two families because they have the same last name,
but no relation.
So we say, "it is a Hinckley/Bradley day".

"Why Grandma...what big Eyes you have!"

I went to Dallas a few weekends ago to scope out all the good shopping spots and I found these shirts at that new Crazy 8 store. It is like the more affordable version of Gymboree - a great place to shop for little boys, by the way.

I wanted to bring them home a souvenir and I thought
they would love these - and my assumption was correct.
They went nuts over the big googly eyes!

Check out Easton's jammies. They have had it.
Can you tell those jammie toes have been through three boys?
I guess it's time to throw those away. Grandma Fish gave those to Kaden.
They have gotten their use Grandma.

My sweet Kaden.....OUCH!!

Kaden has had quite a few health problems that lead to our decision to have his tonsils and adenoids taken out. This is the day we took him to
The OU Children's hospital.
He was so happy. We told him that the Doctor was going to fix his throat
so that he wouldn't get sick so often. We told him
it would hurt for a while but then he would feel better when it was all over.
He kept telling everyone in the hospital that "doctors know best".
His literal comments are so sweet and they bring a
smile to my face everyday.

I thank my Heavenly Father for giving me a special needs child,
to teach me patience and remind me to "stop and smell the roses".

My Students in the Spotlight

I had such a great semester teaching these amazing kids

and directing two performing
groups at the Sooner Theater.

I had a blast and I miss my students! I decided to take the semester off because it was taking me away from my family too much.

This was at their winter concert.
